Questions about pricing

Is there a free plan?

There's a 14-day free trial with everything in it. After that, Hewy is US$99 a year, or US$9.99 a month.

Where do I subscribe?

On a Mac or iPhone, in the App Store, with no Hewy account needed to start. On Android, here on hewy.ai. Sign in to your Hewy account, and one subscription covers every device.

When am I charged, and how do I cancel?

Your first payment is on day 14, unless you cancel at least a day before. Cancel any time in Hewy under Settings → Account, in your Apple account if you subscribed through the App Store, or on your hewy.ai account.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes. Through the App Store, switch in your Apple account's subscription settings: moving to yearly starts at once, with the unused part of your month credited, and moving to monthly starts when your year ends. Through hewy.ai, switch under Manage Billing on your account page.

Do I pay for AI separately?

Yes. Agents use your own API keys or your Claude or ChatGPT plan, so AI usage is billed by your provider. Hewy never marks up tokens, and shows what each chat has used.

What does it cost outside the US?

The App Store sets the price in your country's currency, so it may differ slightly from US$99 or US$9.99. On hewy.ai it's charged in US dollars, plus any tax that applies where you live.

Where can I get it?

For Android, download it from hewy.ai now. For Mac and iPhone, on the App Store everywhere except the European Union and China mainland, coming soon.
